Taste your way through Norway – in the heart of Bergen
Taste of Norway is a seasonal experience, combining the best of Norwegian food culture with nature, history and hospitality. From June 25 to August 30, 2025, we will set the long table in ByRommet with a rich buffet of Norwegian dishes.
Here you sit surrounded by trees, timber and the northern lights, in an atmosphere inspired by both Norwegian forests and vibrant village life. We are proud of our cultural heritage, which is why our staff wear festive costumes and welcome you with genuine warmth – and maybe a little history along the way.
Taste of Norway has taken root in ByRommet – the same magical venue where Gingerbread Town lights up Bergen every Christmas, as the world's largest and most atmospheric Christmas tradition.
In the same spirit, we want to create a distinctive and atmospheric restaurant experience – right in the heart of the city, by combining Norwegian flavors with tradition, culture and beautiful nature.
